Emeralds on an ostrich egg chalice
✨Alfar's Goblet✨
From far and wide they come
with of the sound of a drum.
listen if lucky you may hear em,
the tribes of Fae and Elf show up.
Council or gala they know not why
but to see all kin an' that's no lie.
And to drink from the ancient goblet
passed around till there's no more droplets.
A honey mead, wine or butter rum
They dance until the rise of the Sun.
A tint of red graces this extraordinary ostrich egg, masterfully fashioned into a goblet of rare beauty. Adorned with twenty-two radiant emerald spheres and three striking emerald cabochons, the vessel rests upon a sculptural base of gemsbok horn — an antelope native to Africa — accented with two luminous labradorite cabochons at the front.
The interior is lined with natural beeswax, imbuing the goblet with organic warmth. Please note: hot liquids will soften the wax, so it is best suited for cool contents or display. To preserve its integrity, rinse gently with cool water only; avoid scrubbing the wax. The exterior may be carefully washed with mild soap and cool water.
This one-of-a-kind creation is both functional art and a statement piece, uniting the elegance of gemstones with the raw majesty of nature.
